Current voting-class members are invited to join us at 12:00pm on October 19 at the Ardmore Music Hall for the Annual Board of Directors Election. At the March 19, 2014 BoD meeting, the Board resolved to maintain the existing 11-member Board, leaving 3 available seats for this year’s election. The organization's Governance Committee has submitted a nomination slate to the Board consisting of John Fuhr, Matt McGuire, Phil McLaughlin, and Dennis O’Brien. Additionally, Dan Bencsik has been nominated from the floor. Information on candidates can found by logging in to the PFS Member Area and will be available at the election. Their 2011 release "New Amsterdam" landed on a dozen DJ Top 10 lists and received a nomination for the Alternate Root TV's "2011 Top American Roots Album".

Tin Bird Choir is a barn rock band from Chester County Pennsylvania. They write songs that are rooted in the rural world they grew up in, yet still pulse with urgency. Two songs off their latest album Homesteadywere picked up by Starbucks and are played in their stores worldwide. Another song, “Cheaper, Less Painful,” earned the band a spot as one of the regional finalists in the Mountain Stage Newsong Contest.
